Report Cards: Advice & Suggested Comments for Teachers (Grades K-12) - TeacherVision.com
Report Card Day - November 16th - Awards, Certificates and Promotions.  With recent medical and family issues, we've had to make a few slight adjustments and work a rounds, but Sarah's done better than expected and we're working to make sure we're ready to move on to new material while integrating learned lessons.   We discussed the recent elections, but nothing further than who was elected.  We remembered our veterans on Veterans Day and I spoke on behalf of our apartment, in English from the Beatitudes and from the Sermon on the Mount for I felt that on the Ceremonial Religious Holiday that we also studied, All Hallows Eve, All Saints Day and All Souls Day, we honored and respected the rites and ceremonies rooted in my religion and Sarah got to wear her dress and go out and take a few pretty pictures outside while I brought her in the court (play) yard where they would set up the next evening with a Karaoke Machine, Wireless Mikes, a Guitar with Sheet Music and Music, Prayers, Readings and Remembrances.  We've had a lot of things going on and have just tried to keep everything going well.  Sarah has made great use not only with entertainment, but educationally with her new X-Box.  When I can get a bit of energy and health restored to my world, hopefully we'll be able to perform more of the activities and I can get her entertained into actually working with me to learn how to do some of the things.  We're looking at our Thanksgiving Holiday coming up the day after report card day and will return to school again the day after her neurology appointment.  I'm supposed to make sure that she's rested and kept more calm and in a low stress environment (me too having to take care of her) until her doctor sees her and we can make sure that everything's alright.  She seems to be doing much better and in better spirits, but with Daylight Savings time and all sorts of other events going on right now things have been in a total upheaval.  Everything will work out.  We did our best to remain both religiously, politically, and in other matters that don't concern us, for the most part, neutral, because things get rather hectic when you're absolutely misunderstood or speculation leaves you very exhausted without even taking part in things of that nature.  Anyway, we hope you all had a peaceful time if you celebrated or honored any of the above and you will have a Happy Thanksgiving.  Lee and Sarah.
